27. Construction Update

Woah!!! Some of our walls have reached their third tier of earth pouring! 

Dan and Kohei have created multi generational scaffolding designs for each tier.  Here is generation 3 for the tallest pour of the walls.  

Brian and Frenchie make final touches on the formworks installations.

Wood boards are cast into the wall to anchor future window and door frames.

Amos and Agyengo are quite the carpentry team.  They have many jokes together and have really become a vital pair to our team.  

The guys mix earth, sand, cement, and gravel into a slurry and then shovel it into these metal pans. We carry the pans on our heads to the wall that's being poured and Abu dumps it, aerates it, and levels it.  I will probably create  a whole post about how the guys mix because I think it's fascinating...stay tuned.
