To the south! Warm, tropical, historic, and romantic. Andalusia was amazing and we picked some fun cities to explore.

Granada- Lots of history to see in Granada! Moorish architecture captures our attention as well as the handcrafts and artists! All of Granada's beautiful attractions brought us to every corner of the city.

I have to start with the bath house! What a cool find. My interest with water and architecture makes bathing and swimming facilitates fun to visit! This bath house kicked off a strand of bath house/ spa visits in Europe (stay tuned for a picture post about all those!)

Alhambra Gardens! So beautiful and a perfect afternoon wandering palace grounds.

So much Moorish Architecture!

Granada had so many tiny streets that cars would travel down. We held our breath a couple times wondering if the car would squeeze through unharmed.

We went to a science museum in Granada to take a break from all the historic attractions. We had a blast being nerds! There was an exhibit about robotics and this lovely ladybot named Ava showed us around the exhibit. Mom was excited about such cool technology- as shown in the picture.

From Glorious Granada we ventured by train to Sassy Sevilla. Seville is known for flamenco, bull fighting, and paella, and we did all three of those things and more!!

We weren't allowed to take photos during the flamenco show we saw- so i busted out my sketchbook and did some gesture drawings instead. I had a lot of fun doing this! The show we saw was AMAZING! WOW!

We took a tour of the biggest and most famous bull ring in Spain (I think) and really enjoyed learning the history and details of the bullfighting culture.

The plaza de Espana and the Alcazar palace were recommendations from people we have met along our journey and we really enjoyed visiting and spending time at both those attractions.

I spy with my little eye Mom- Can you see her?!
